Just Be

The more I see you
The more I see in you
The more I feel you

Those affectionate touches
and kisses
They relax us
They open us
They soften us
They heal us

The way you let me touch you
The way your fingers
trace my skin,
How come
There's so much affection
in such sensual gestures
How come
There's overflowing compassion
in such burning desire
How come
every moment feels like an invitation
to enjoy
to savor
to come home to
every inch of your being
every breath you breathe
the very you

And tenderness
is when you wrapped me around in your arms
when you hold me close
to your chest
to feel the warmth
of your body
to merge with your energy
to be savored
completely

Resting there
and just be
No longer feeling thirsty
It's all quenched
No longer need to seek
I'm now found
No more endless quest
I'm now home

Perih Ini Lagi

Perih ini lagi
Yang tak bernama
Yang tak pernah punya etika
Muncul di waktu-waktu semestinya manusia bahagia
Ketika pagi merekah
saat terkasih menyapa
Ketika semburat senja pamerkan tariannya
Atau saat malam menghias diri dengan taburan bintang

Perih ini lagi
Tak jelas darimana asalnya
Memotong separuh semua ceriaku
Tawaku tinggal setengah
Senyumku berhenti di tengah
Merantai nafas yang ingin lepas
Membuat banyak kata terhenti di dada

Perih ini lagi
Beritahu aku siapa kamu
Dan darimana asalmu
Bawa aku kemanapun kau mau
Ceritakan kisahmu
Aku di sini
Akan tetap di sini
Sampai aku mengenalmu
Sampai tak lagi kau terasa
Perih bagiku

In Go(o)d Hands

In haste I saw her
welcoming my weary smile
and teary eyes
with a casual embrace
and ensuring gaze
Opening a sacred space
for us two
amid the trance
among the crowds

I shivered
she answered calmly
to my every worries
and smile carefreely
letting me be
in the freedom to feel
anxious
broken
fragile

She took my hand
and climbed up the hill
a beautiful spot
chairs at the top
then there we sat
looking down to the ocean
there she said
Everything is in good hands

I raised my head
looking at her so close for the first time
I sighed
A sweet relief
recognizing her at last
As me
